The irony being that Daz stole from Death Row / Can Am. Suge is no angel but at least everyone on or associated with Death Row ate well, even if they hadn’t had an album out. Suge paid Death Row money (not directly out of Snoops money) for a strong legal defence for his murder trial.
He paid 2Pac before he was on the label, before putting up the 1.4million bail, paying off his existing legal fee’s, the day to day security he needed, not to mention the fortune that 2Pac was costing Death Row in expenses before he even had the chance to enjoy any royalty from any album. The man was not only living in the studio eating away at engineers costs, but was making a ton of music videos

Sure, Kenner and co fixed the accounting to be able pay everyone, like OFTB’s homes, Nate’s child support, but Suge was ensuring everyone was taken care of by treating Death Row like a socialist organisation. Trying to unisonise the Hip Hop music industry, and seeking their own distribution was their ultimate downfall

This X's 100

We forget how much the sampling would cost on the songs 'Pac was on that remain unreleased because they would cost a bomb, part of the reason why we ended up with the shitty posthumous remixes
