*ok, I haven't really heard Kanye rappin other than Slow Jamz and Through The Wire so think of that as a disclaimer*

The beat on through the wire, the sample of Chaka Khan's Through The Fire is dope period but the song itself is repetitive and tiring and his flow on that is not too hot in my opinion.  When Through the Wire came out I was jockin' it but the more and more I heard it through the next 2 months or so made me sick of it.  Fastforward to January and I can't turn on my radio without hearing through the wire at least twice in a regular day of driving.  Through The Wire's lyrics were unimpressive but they drowned by a tightass track.  Slow Jamz is a completely different aspect of Kanye's lyrical prowess giving him a chance to rap to a slower beat and more control in his flow.  So what I've gathered in my Kanye knowlege is that he is a better slow rapper than to a faster beat his lyrics always come off as controlled like that.  With that being said the Colab. with mighty Mos Def is guaranteed gold in my opinion, Mos Def being a real lyricist who has shown his skill faster songs "Ms. Fatbooty" and slower songs "Brown Skin Lady".  I'ma gonna pick up this album upon it's release but I am not expecting anything more than a few bangers, and a few forced bangers.

but this is coming from a guy who uses "Hey Ya" as his ringtone ;)

He sounds a lot like 50 Cent...

Not to me.. But they both have had problems with their mouth.

By the way, Breathe In Breathe Out is one fucking dope song. :o

Are you the guy from the Neptunes?

You mean the Asian that probaly makes 80% of the beats while Pharrel just takes the spotlight in the videos and because of his useless singing in songs while opressing the Asian dude Chad Hugo who probaly is much more talented than Pharrel?
:o No one said I looked like him before, lol, all Asians just look alike to you don't they?

the worst part about this album is that there are 3 intros. what the fuck do you need 3 intros for? i mean, 1 is ok, 2 is pushing it, but 3 is ridiculous. everytime i throw that cd in, i gotta skip the first 3 tracks. but maybe that's just cuz it's the pre-release
