DJ Premier's Best Work?
« on: September 26, 2018, 02:32:17 AM »
What do you consider DJ Premier's best work if we exclude Gang Starr's albums. I'm talkin' about albums that Premo produced. Here's some of 'em.

- Big Shug - Who's Hard
- Group Home - Livin' Proof
- Jeru The Damaja - The Sun Rises In The East
- Jeru The Damaja -  Wrath Of The Math
- PRhyme 1 & 2
- DJ Premier Presents Get Used To Us
- Beats That Collected Dust 1 & 2
- DJ Premier & Bumpy Knuckles - The Kolexxxion
- Blaq Poet - Tha Blaqprint
- Torii Wolf - Flow Riiot

Those are the ones i remember right now, but if there's other albums that were mostly produced by Premier, say and i'll add 'em to the list.

jeru 1st album and Group Home are the best. Group Home had better beats overall, but not even in the same galaxy as Jeru lyrics wise.

Group Home - Livin' Proof hands down.

A hip-hop media journalist once said -

"You could have toilet sounds playing through out the whole album, it would still sound amazing. That's how good the beats were."
