Is Big Syke's 'Big Syke Daddy' worth getting?
« on: January 07, 2019, 10:14:40 AM »
I'm looking to get a Big Syke album and this one seems the best one to get.  His first 'Be Yo Self'' appears to be out of print and extremely hard to come by, which is a shame as it's entirely produced by Johnny J during the Death Row heyday.

So as a big 2Pac fan and someone who is also a fan of Syke, is his second album worth getting for the collection?  Anyone want to give a short review?  I know some tracks from the first feature on the second album so that's good.

Be Yo Self is his best album. This one is just ok. I think there are a few remixed tracks from his first album on here. If you can get it easy and cheap, grab it. A few decent songs on it. Time Iz Money feat DJ Quik is a banger and easily the best song on the album. Claasic Quik sound.

I would get it for 'Time Iz Money' alone. What a gem.
