Seen this one...

... but on a side note, notice Jimmy Iovine was always around... you almost wonder what Suge was really contributing, like as if Jimmy pretty much handled all business and Dre handled the music...

"I will make records as big or bigger than Death Row".   -Dre, Source 1996

"I didn't do nothing but make people money and I didn't leave nobody high and dry.  Any album (on death row) people are going to check for.  But it's time for Dre to worry about Dre.  I'm focused on the new Snoop Doggs, not like that but you know what I mean."

Dre -  Source 1996 cover

"Eminem will be bigger than Michael Jackson as long as he doesn't change."

-Dre, Rolling Stones mag 1999 Em cover

suge handled the politics

Street politics maybe...but it was Jimmy who made most of that Ruthless mess go away, hes the one who actually worked it out legally with Jerry.  Hes also the one who talked to MTV and Radio to make sure those early records got played... they pretty much gave Suge the money to go bail out PAC... I mean at every turn it seems Jimmy was there in the background cleaning up Suges mess...

Sorry to say cause I know people want to see the white execs as the bad guy but...
