Yeah I know what you're talking about. I didn't even buy it until 2 years after it came out because I didn't think it was up to DR's standards originally, but when you look back on it it gets better. It's hard to believe most of those tracks were produced by Daz, since he was 20 or so when it came out. And Kurupt comes tight, as does Rage and Snoop, Nate doing his thing, though I wish there was more Mr. Malik on it, I thought he upstaged the others on Cyco-Lic-No. I heard on the rereleased version that DR put out last year that Kurupt isn't credited with producing Sooo Much Style? Guess now that he's back on Tha Row they'll be rereleasing it crediting him with producing every track! lol

CLASSIC album

especially like "Doggystyle" which is the best rap album ever i think...
with Dre on the productions & Snoop on the vocals, they really were untouchable...

this period was just too short...

Hitt Roccs is on Snoop's Smokefest album.  Great song.  DJ Quik remade it for Snoop's Top Dogg album.

Raphael Saadiq played the bass on Smooth, makes sense now, DJ Pooh said it on his IG account
