Whats everyones opinion on Mellencamp. Personally I'm not a huge fan, but he was born and raised in the same town I was (Seymour IN), and I'm not sure if he's popular anywhere other than the midwest, so I'm kind of curious. Of course everyone around here has stories about him when he was a kid. My dad claims he beat him up in High School. My friends grandma claims his parents woudln't let him play music in the house, so he would sneak over to her house and play guitar etc... Probably all bullshit, but funny none the less. Sound off on the guy if you have any knowledge of his music. Oh, and everyone who ever knew the guy, said he was a complete and total ass when he was younger. No one likes him, yet they all love his music. Sellouts lol.

My mate loves the guy. I don't really know too much about that kinda stuff, but isn't this the guy who works a lot with Moe ZMD, who produced a lot of Pac stuff as well as radio's Recognise The Real CD??
