It was probably so bad it wasn’t worth giving him the time of day. At least Biggie and others ‘Pac disses can rap. His lyrics ain’t bad but his flow is awful.

Point here is this was a robbery song, 2pac was "robbed" year before. Now actually they say was not really supposed to be a robbery but he reacted opposite to what they expected. Now this Akinyele tune talks of the real robberies and that line with 2pac blurred out/replaced is essentially telling 2pac that he wasn't really robbed and should stop the noise, because if it was a real robbery hed be dead.

Here's the track with the 2Pac line intact.

He probably wasn't aware of it, and would be of no benefit to answering back. 2pac was the worlds biggest rap star in 1996, so everyone wanted him to name them in a song, which could potentially be heard by millions. Most had never even heard of Chino XL until the summer of 96 when 2Pac named him. Warner had just put out his debut a few months before with very little promotion, so I bet Chino XL was glad to hear 2Pac diss him. A fan base of millions, you can kind of fathom at least 10, 20 thousand would go and check them out. Back then, you didn't have the readily available internet sources to hear the music, so (and I was even guilty of this) people would see an album in the stores and pick it up based on hearing what the opposition had to say.

Can you imagine if Hit Em Up had lines like "I'm taking shots at Akinyele, Don't f.. with Makaveli" people would be like "who the hell is Akinyele" much like they did with Chino XL, but the only difference being that they'd go pick up a Akinyele CD and think to themselves, why the hell is 2Pac wasting his time with this chump

You forget at the time, 2pac wasn't playing around. If you even gestured at him the wrong way , he had a diss lined up for you next hour. Didnt matter you was major or underground, you was getting it. 2pac didn't discriminate. In fact there at the front on this uncut raw version fam posted, at the beginning there you can even out on bail 2pac guitar riff.

this must been censored after Pac died, but before that the  original played. 2pac was beefin with Biggie/Brooklyn but East Coast and NY bigger than Brooklyn. Others were not going to sit and watch. AK from Queens.
