I gave the EP a quick listen yesterday and wasn't feeling it.  I'll give it another go, but I'm just finding myself losing all interest in Crooked.  It's the same issue it's always been; great lyrics, lousy beats.

I agree. I respect Crooked so much but this beat sucks.

This is actually one of the more tolerable beats on the Flag EP.  Most of the rest are trash and Crooked sounds bored on most of the tracks.  It's a very low energy album.  I still can't believe I first found Crooked here on Dubcnn almost 20 years ago and the dude never managed to put out a classic album.  Almost every single one was fucked up by trash beats.
