Is a tune daz blatantly uses pharcyde swag from "passin by"....goes .."my dear my dear my dear you do not know me very well." ...aint see no credit from Daz there?

was it a sample or did he just rap something similar?

if that were the case Jay-Z would have to give credit each time he used other rappers lines :laugh:

btw didn't Mike Dean do this track with Daz?

Yeah.. I noticed this too.. Daz must really like that Pharcyde track, he used it on "Money On My Mind" from his So So Def album everybody slept on... but it wasn't really that heavily sampled... just kind of a tribute really... not any different from what hip-hop always does... I mean, there are 100's of Daz rhymes and choruses, and interludes that are tributes to former tracks

...Now some shit like Puffy's "I Miss You" was a blatant ripoff of the Police track.  That to me is different.
