1.  Why are we able to see Venus in the night sky but not the sun?  Venus is between the sun and earth.  So if we can't see the sun and night how come we can see Venus?

2.  Why is water always level, in a glass, in a tub, in a swimming pool... yet somehow water curves on the oceans to make a globe?  How is that possible?  Because the gravity is so strong it curves the oceans?  If it's that strong to hold the oceans how come it doesn't hold our feet to the ground?

3.  If the earth is spinning at 1,000 miles Eastward then if we are flying from L.A. to New York wouldn't it take a long ass time because the Earth keeps spinning making the distance longer then when the plane took off?  And if the atmosphere is also spinning at the same speed then wouldn't it make the flight back from New York to L.A. significantly faster?

(btw, Earth 🌎 is not a spinning water ball)

1.You can only see Venus just before sunrise or just after sunset, when it is in a part of its orbit that is just barely visible from Earth’s night side. A similar situation makes Mercury visible only during these times also.

2.Not sure what you mean here. It does hold our feet to the ground.. until we exert energy to lift it up. But gravity pulls it right back down..similar to how oceans have waves.

3.As the earth spins towards the east, it's also pulling everything on earth with it, including earth's atmosphere and the planes in it.
