The aim is to compile something equal to Doggystyle ideally. Something with that level of range and quality that showcases the entire artist we used to know as Snoop Doggy Dogg. Everyone has their own tastes as to what constitutes that but we can all agree his debut was a classic, pretty much a flawless album.

Now that I've listened to a few jams here and there I'm going to make my own take on the Snooper Dooper Challenge and I'm certain it will blow your minds.

Here it is, the greatest sophomore album Snoop never made:

01 Next Episode (Intro)
02 Eat a Dick
03 That Was Then feat. Big Pimpin', OFTB & Kurupt Tha Kingpin
04 Got to Do Wrong
05 The Root of All Evil feat. Teena Marie
06 Haven't You Heard
07 The Genie feat. Bad Azz & Bo Rock
08 Only Move For The Money feat. 2Pac
09 Dogg Collar feat. Lady V, K.V., Big Pimpin', 6'9_, Twin, Badass
10 Head Doctor
11 May I
12 21 Jumpstreet
13 Niggaz Iz Lyke That feat. Chocolate, CPO & Tre' Deuce
14 Quite Obvious feat. Rappin 4 Tay
15 Get In 2 This feat Charlie Wilson
16 If There's a Cure feat. 2Pac
17 Doggystyle feat. George Clinton & Jewell
18 Medley For A V
19 Midnight Love
20 No More Games feat. Nate Dogg & Prince Ital Joe
21 Smoke On

I stuck to 93-97 tracks from a variety of places as this was Snoop at his best and definitely his prime in terms of flow, lyrics and beats. To me this is Snoops best album that isn't Doggystyle and its almost on par with that as I went with a very similar kind of style and sequencing. Enjoy.

Because we're stuck in 96 and Spotify doesn't exist here.

Did you just take every Death Row snoop track that wasn’t on Doggystyle or Doggfather and make an album? You really think ‘Eat a Dick’ and ‘Root of All Evil’ are some of the best tracks from that era?  They sound so unfinished. I know we all have our own opinions but i think the others were a little more creative and put more thought into their tracklists.  But props for the idea of the challenge.

strange, wiki has it under dre

https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Death_Row:_The_Lost_Sessions_Vol._1

while it doesn’t sound like a typical dre beat it is produced much better than any solo daz work and i do think dre had his hand in pretty much everything death row during that era

if you listen to Original Version u can hear same string melody used in aint no fun. that belongs to dre. also synth bass definately sounds like dre. i think its a demo daz beat that dre was trying to mix and develop. but he wasnt satisfied with it and left it. daz finished it alone and removed strings and synth bass which belongs to dre. he remade the beat.
