read the article .. they’re calling it snoops 19th studio album and simply stating it’ll have a lot of features. a compilation is more just a collection of random tracks by different artists. if snoop is guna be on every song but have a feature on each one, then it’s still a snoop album.

True, but did you listen to what Snoop said on the BFC interview? He said it's a compilation. Of course it might come out looking like Jay'z "The Dynasty: Roc La Familia".

Snoop confirmed that its a compilation. He isn't signed to Def Jam as a solo artist. And the artwork clearly says Snoop Dogg Presents...

I just heard the full version of "Murda Music"....and it doesn't feature any Snoop verse at all. He only does the intro and chorus. Actually, that's one of the songs I was looking forward for him to spit on. A bummer. Guess that settles the compilation discussions.

Yeah I actually think it is more of a compilation than a Snoop album now.  He mentioned in the breakfast club interview another track with Redman, Method Man and a new female MC with a verse on that, and I already figured he was just doing the hook on Murda Muzik since it had Benny, Jada and Busta.  I’m sure Snoop is on most of the tracks but I don’t expect him to carry the full album at this point
