You are right but as we all know it's not. Even Snoop last album wasn't mixed well so....but Drones, Silc Sonic, Algorithm are on point.

well there’s different levels to sonic mastery

there’s:

subpar (a good portion of independent hip hop projects today are poor in sound quality)
solid (most projects meet the solid standard- just good enough to release but doesn’t sound as crisp as it should)
good (i’d say there’s a nice number of projects that are good sonically, but most are funded by big labels)
great (it’s rare for an album to be sonically great nowadays, especially in hip-hop)
flawless (pretty much only dre achieves this level)

sonically, algorithm doesn’t quite meet the dre standard of flawless but it is in the great range, which is more than what we can say for most albums droppin nowadays.

Great song. It really should've been longer and included an actual Snoop verse. They should've traded lines somewhere in the song for an extra pop. The video seems half-baked.
