I don't think we will see Mt. Westmore and Dre. Maybe Kendrick later next year.

Dr. Dre - Untitled (2050)
LMAO

Yeah, I don't know if it could change the game, but getting all these albums would be enough for me personally. It could be huge.

I think I saw a picture of xzibit in the studio last week. He played his album for some cat, so he must have an album coming too. Though he announced it 3 years ago and keeps delaying it, so who knows when it will drop.

The game is also working on a new album. He got a dr dre verse according to his engineer.

Silk Sonic is going to deliver. The way for the west to really take over is for a game changing sound from Dre and new talent to blow off the album. That’s how it went down in 92 and 99.

I asked Clive about this. Lost Angel is usually very chirpy, he declined to answer. Probably because his info gets quickly outdated.

Don't think I would even check one album from that list. Would check a new Xzibit though!

As much as it pains me, the West is dead and doesn't look very promising for the future. Kendrick doesn't have the star power to lead a resurgence of an entire coast. He's kind of this unique star that just catapults himself to shine but nobody else. The last surge of the West was when Game came out and even that fizzled out because a lot of the younger guys got jealous and started the "New West" movement.

Most of the artists coming out now sound like everyone else outside the coast, using auto-tune and doing the singing/rapping act.

Like someone else said, Dre is the one shot to really bring the spotlight back. He either needs to drop a game-changing album or use the formula that was used for The Chronic. Then synch other big name releases immediately after that.

Given the time Game was much of a movement more of a coattail riding trying to get credit for himself.
