In Loving Memory
« on: May 31, 2003, 04:46:11 PM »
A Day In May

over the years a lot had changed
I grew older and went my ways
though my love didnt go astray
no never, it always remained
when I was a kid you and me
spent so much time having fun
and now I cant believe
the time of moving on has begun
at times of crisis I sought your council
you helped as much as you possibly could
now who do I consult when I need guidance
to help me solve problems the way I should
your gone, thats a fact
but its hard to come by it
with more weight on my back
dont worry I will try it
you got sick and turned depressed
and now your healed of your pain
like a lost game of chess
move, checkmate, game
in some way I'm happy for you
you finally got what you wanted
30th of may your life was due
though its not what I wanted
it hurts but I wont cry
you probably wouldnt me to anyway
I just hope I will continue to do right
and you still know my love for you is eternal, everyday
I could go on writing poems endlessly
but I cant express whats inside
but now you can see what I see
and mentally read whats on my mind
your lookin down and I look up
for I will never see or feel you
but I know you got my back
whenever I really need you
I know its not my fault
but I aint even gonna lie
it hurts to know your gone
and I couldnt say goodbye...

In Loving Memory of my Dear Grandmother, may she Rest In Peace wherever she went. I love You

man thats some pretty dope shit, alot of feel in it.
Coz you see at the age of birth, we was contaminated with the caucasions curse/
I dont know what came first, the pententiary or the purse/
But I aint into that crap, I'd rather lay back and start working on my raps/
While you niggas stay strapped, with a hoe on your lap, with a dirty puss and crack/
While I stay intact with my people, and carry the mic which is lethal/

Well Ceeride, mayne that was some buetiful writing there, it touched man, and i feel ya when someone you loved dies, it takes its toll on your feelings, and it makes you realise you only really miss someone or something when its gone...

Sorry to hear, and i hope you can deal with the pain as well as you have expressed in your poem.. If ya need to talk im here...

Peace - Indy
