Patrick Ewing Retires...

After 17 yrs.... big Patrick Ewing hangs up the shoes... he will be an assitant coach with the Wizards next year... I loved big pat... I'm a huge knick fan... he was a great center and never got enough credit

damn.....he played his heart out for the knicks and indeed was a good center!  so hes gonna be an assistant coach with the Wizards?  with his long time rival.......Mike!! thats dope!

Being a die hard Pacers fan, Patrick was one of my least favorite people during the early to mid 90's. But looking back, and watching him over the last couple years, I started to like the guy. He was a damn good center, and a hell of a competitor. He deserved a championship.

He had a great career. It's good to see he's steppin' down and letting the younger peeps get the spotlight.

shame for pat,  he never won a ring.  an knicks fans always hated him.  he was hated in ny untill he left an every1 loved him again but thats ny for ya

Probably cause he never won them a ring, and missed alot of big shots. Still a hell of a baller though.

I thought he never got enough credit... everyone was on Shaq's nuts when he was balling with the Magic... but Patrick was doing awesome back then... getting 40+ in games... he averaged just above 20... he was an awesome baller

ok, but everyone misses big shots. Hell, just look at the East Finals. Paul Pierce missed the 2 free throws that would ave sent Boston to the NBA Finals, but he aint hated....

Its sad that he didn't played his whole career as a Knick, i still don't know why the knicks traded him, its fucked up.
