posts what you think are the worst things that happened to hip-hop. mine are:

Rakim signing to aftermath
Crooked I signing to Tha Row
50 Cent
Ras Kass getting fucked on several occasions by Priority
Eazy-E dying of AIDs
Big L getting shot
Big Pun dying of a heart attack
Xzibit hooking up w/Dre
Paris having trouble releasing his new album
Snoop Dogg hooking up with the Neptunes
Above The Law going independent & therefore having trouble releasing their new album
Mitchy Slicks Triggeration Station going out of print (I can't find it)
Ruthless Records not re-releasing ATL's Uncle Sam's Curse

Most hip-hop is now keyboard driven, because the majority of hip-hop workstations have loops and patches that enable somebody with marginal skills to put tracks together,...

Unfortunately, most hip-hop artists gravitated towards the path of least resistance by relying on these pre-set patches. As a result, electric guitar and real musicians became devalued, and a lot of hip-hop now sounds the same.

lmao...yea its definetely him that started it...some rappers are good actors (pac, ice cube,..even ja rule..) but some are awful (kid n' play, treach, fat joe)
