Most hip-hop is now keyboard driven, because the majority of hip-hop workstations have loops and patches that enable somebody with marginal skills to put tracks together,...

Unfortunately, most hip-hop artists gravitated towards the path of least resistance by relying on these pre-set patches. As a result, electric guitar and real musicians became devalued, and a lot of hip-hop now sounds the same.

Yeah i just seen the show he performed 'Smooth Sailin'' with Kurupt and Y.A. It was a good performance i would of loved to see him talk for awhile as well.

yeah, ive jus seen it. it was dope. the crowd wasnt really into it as much as i thought they would, but solid performance nonetheless

kurupt actually had some mixed reactions when jumped onto the stage during the song. it sounded like people wanted to boo him, but when he started hyping people were cheering.

Yeah I was up there, I met Kurupt and we talked for a little bit. He wasn't speaking on Daz negatively when I asked about him. It was a short 1 minute conversation, there was too many females yelling at him for his attention. He signed a Philaphornia flier for me too. Cool person.

By the way, they ARE filming a "Smooth Sailin'" Video. Kurupt was telling me about it saying they're filming it on Roscoe Blvd in the San Fernando Valley, and they were having people sign up to be extras in the video. So I guess that seals that confusion.
