So yea.....ROC THE MIC came 2 tha bay finally, I didn't go 2 this shit cuzz I waz at a Nickatina concert promotin & shit.....but everybody waz talkin bout how niggaz gone do somethin 2 memphis bleek & crew for stealin our Get Low name and shit.....He waz confronted before bout this, but it waz gonna be official till we found out it got squashed lol.....

Here's what JT had 2 say:


YEAH THE BEEF OVER GET LOW RECORDS HAS BEEN SQAUSHED AT THIS POINT WE HAD A FACE TO FACE MEETING SET UP BY NONE OTHER THAN JAY Z HIMSELF. HE GOT ME AND BLEEK TOGETHER TO HANDLE THIS MATTER FACE TO FACE NO CREWS NO GANGS JUST FACTS, AND I MUST SAY BY THE END OF THE CONVERSATION HE HAD TO RESPECT MY MIND AND MY HUSTLE. HE SWORE HE NEVER KNEW ANYTHING ABOUT US, ALSO HE WAS UPSET ABOLUT THE DIS RECORDS BUT HAD TO RESPECT OUR ATTACK OVER WHAT WE BUILT. HE GOT IT TATTED AS WELL AS ALL HIS SIDE MEMBERS. HE CLAIMED IT WAS A NEIGHBORHOOD THANG. THE DEAL MADE WAS THAT IF HE WANTED TO PURSUE THE USE OF THE NAME GET LOW HE WOULD HAVE TO ADD "EAST" TO IT SO THERE WOULD BE A DISTINCTION BETWEEN OUR TO CAMPS. NOW WE DID ALL THIS ON A HAND SHAKE SO AS OF RIGHT NOW IM GIVING HIM THE BENEFIT OF DOUBT THAT HE IS GOING TO RESPECT THE TERMS BUT IF NOT THEN THE BEEF CAN GO ON AND THE NEXT PHASE OF BUSINESS WILL BE THE COURT ROOM SO THAT I CAN BE SOME EVIDENCE COMING TO THE TABLE. AND IF GOES THAT ROUTE WE WILL BE ADDING SOME EXTRA ZEROS TO OUR ACCOUNTS.

ONE CRITICAL FACTOR IN THESE KIND OF DISPUTES IS THAT IF HE NEVER RELEASES NOTHING UNDER THAT NAME WE CANT GET ONE RED NICKLE.
BUT HOPEFULLY HE WILL RESPECT THE HUSTLE AND MAKE THE DISTINCTION.

Most hip-hop is now keyboard driven, because the majority of hip-hop workstations have loops and patches that enable somebody with marginal skills to put tracks together,...

Unfortunately, most hip-hop artists gravitated towards the path of least resistance by relying on these pre-set patches. As a result, electric guitar and real musicians became devalued, and a lot of hip-hop now sounds the same.
