yeah i love Ice-T one of my faves, i made a few topics about him a while back but they were kinda slept on.My fave song is I'm Your Pusher & my fave album is The Iceberg, altho all of his albums are pure dopeness

Most hip-hop is now keyboard driven, because the majority of hip-hop workstations have loops and patches that enable somebody with marginal skills to put tracks together,...

Unfortunately, most hip-hop artists gravitated towards the path of least resistance by relying on these pre-set patches. As a result, electric guitar and real musicians became devalued, and a lot of hip-hop now sounds the same.

^ lol @ 'party people' ole chris glove taylor stuff.. few more funny ones from back in the day too..

The first Ice-T album I bought was OG. classic to me.  (I still gotta pick up Power as the tracks i've heard are tight)

the greatest hits that came out about a year or two ago had some nice remixes on it too.. one with a scarface sample taht was towards the end stuck out. i havent liked his stuff lately tho.

Probably it was rls if i remember correctly just before / around the la riots...

...it got withdrawn by the company so as not to incite violence...also because of the cool lyrics

haha

well ya can get it still on secondspin i think...about $20 ...not much for an album that should be worth something one day

whats really shitty is that i'm sure the martian records (new+2nd hand cd store) here has/had it...but i never had any cash on me last time i saw it there. other sucky thing is, that shops too far from my work (i work on one side of the town centre, its waay down the other side of town) so i dont have time to go there at lunch...and at weekends its too far off the beaten track... and anyways.. starbucks is calling.. lol.

i'll snag it sometime :)  (Added to my shopping list in the staff forum here.. lol)
