Anyway, props to Germany, your style of play reminds me of Arsenal circa 1988 - 1997, and Germany use it well, it may be boring but it works.

The "Boring Boring Arsenal" period is over... Liverpool has inherited that title, it should be evident to you if you have watched some of their matches last season. I know you didn't say that Arsenal were boring, I just felt I had to write this, as I despise Liverpool...

Oh I didn't think he had a great game,  I was just saying that this showed his mentality - some players (Scholes, Gascoigne)crumble when booked in a Semi, to miss a Final, others stand up and be counted.  He was in the right place at the right time yes, but it was his determination to get himself there that said it all for me.

LOL, I also noticed Van Nistelrooy's absence. And Thierry has proved himself at the highest level (you saw him in World Cup 98 and Euro 2000). Van Nisterooy hasn't proved himself on the highest international level yet, IMO.
