« on: July 22, 2002, 10:00:26 AM »
which makes the most innovative games

i say sega, theyre never afraid to try new ideas and shit and for the most part the games are always good (jet set radio future, shenmue, seaman etc etc)

nintendo is just more of the same, mario zelda, gets boring, nothing new

I was getting ready to come in here and be pro Nintendo like always, but I took a minute to think. Although I like the Mario, Zelda, Metroid games better than Sonic etc, Sega does have alot of good first party games. Until Nintendo starts it's own kick ass sports line, I gotta go with Sega on this one.

Nintendo.

Who invented platformers with Super Mario Brothers?

Who had the pad where you could run and get a work out and play video games at the same time? (now copied by dance dance revolution and numerous others)

Who invented Pokemon?

Who single handedly made the video game standard for 3d platformers (Mario 64)

Who invented the rumble pack?

Who brought back the Analog controller?

Im sure there are many others Im forgetting, but cant remember now...

No doubt that sega has some intresting and creative titles, but Nintendo blows them outta the water

Yo man, he talking about games, not hardware. I'd agree with you if he was askin about innovation of hardware, games, and anything else to do with systems.

all of nintendos gamea are the same thing, more of mario, more of  zelda (even though they dont make the zelda games),it gets boring to me,they arent coming with new games, theyre living off mario, but sega is always makin new concepts etc....
