i've really been feelin the neptunes lately...or atleast with the shit pharrell has been singing on (frontin, beautiful, excuse me miss, etc) and everything i've heard from the clones album sounds dope...im gonna say them...but if tim brings shit back on the new tim & magoo album and makes it as good as the 1st i might just have to change my P.O.V.

Not a fan of Timbo and i love the grimey Neptunes beats (but hate their soft shit) so Pharrell and Chad for me.

I gotta say Neptunes simply cause of the fact that I havent reallt heard much of timbalands shit but I cant watch the tv without hearin a neptunes beat.  Plus they get hated on far too much and I thik they are dope personally.

Timbaland has just been around so much longer, maybe in a couple years the Neptunes could be at his level, but right now they're new in the game.

Timbaland is the better producer, no doubt! I liked the Neptunes when they first stepped in the game and their sound was something new, but now any beat of them seems to be just like a former beat. In my opinion they have 2 types of producing-styles: The first one is like that new single "Frontin'" (as I can remember, Justin Timberlake had many beats of that style) and the second one is a little bit rougher, just like "Light Your Ass On Fire". You can also hear typical styles in Timbaland beats of course, but what the Neptunes are producing in the last time is just trash with only few exceptions!
