I tend to think they will. I personally think Conseco, and company coming out with all these steroid accusations right around the time of a strike being mentioned is a set up. I'd guess MLB is paying Jose to say this shit, so that if the league strikes, It discredits a large majority of the atheletes. I think if they do strike again, it'll be alot harder to bounce back like they did the first time. Peeps like me who are casual fans won't have any desire to watch the divas.

best move baseball can do is play out tha rest of tha season than go on strike.  Do tha players realize that if they strike there is a very strong possibility major league baseball will die.  There is no cal ripken 2 save baseball like he did in 95 wit break gherings record.  Baseball is in some serious shit.  Bud selig said that there r 6-8 teams that wont be able to operate in 3 years if baseball keeps goin this way.  They  need contraction,  bye bye tampa bay an montreal.  They desperatly need to get rid of tampa bay.  They have no stars,  even there farm system is in shambles.  Shame about montreal,  there finally gettin a good year 2gether but only showin it off to 500 people a NIGHT.  remember 94 when baseball went on strike they had tha best record in tha bigs but could baRELy sell out half tha stadium.  Some1 needs to kill donald fehr tha players rep.  This guy is a cancer,  a scumbag an i'll be glad when he dies.  We need a commish wit some balls.  They need a maximum an minimum salery cap.  Drug testing.  Baseball is such serious shit right now it aint even funny.  I seriously think this could be tha end

i dont think the strike will happen now that i think about it, america needs baseball right now due to the war, ppl need baseball to be able to kick back and watch there team and not have to think about nothing else, baseball is to great of a team to let this bull shit happen to it. selig or some 1 in baseball will save it. and another thing is they havent said shit about it on ESPN

it might happen next season.  Its a shame that people dont care about this sport cuz its "slow". Those same people like football, which IMO is even slower.

baseball players could give 2 fucks that there is a war going on right now.  Donald fehr could not give fucks,  they want there money an they want it now.  Bud selig wont save baseball b/c he is a pussy.  He is part to blame for where baseball is now.  When things started to go bad he  didnt do shit now look at it,  its 2 late.  A strike might be tha best thing possible if everything gets straightened out which i dont think it will.  I have a question.  If they go on strike what happenes to tha minor leagues do they keep playing or do they strike 2

Baseball is dead.....

The average or casual fan can give 2 fuck's about the sport.
Watching sport's center & Baseball tonight is a joke......when John Doe has 4o homer's by the all-star break....most people are like who the fuck is that!!!!!

Baseball in the 80's & early 90's was a sport, everyone knew their team had their favorite player's ect...
In the millenium, you can't get attached to a "franchise" player cause the word loyalty has no meaning anymore....let's face it there is only one "Kirby Pucket".

Baseball has been replaced by Basketball as the U.S. pastime.
Baseball will never regain it's spot.
Baseball is like a cancer in sport's right now....it's dying slow.
The recent string of Records being broken were all a set-up to regain fan's to make them forget how much the sport has lost.....it worked for a while, but now all the dirt is coming out from under the rug......(Steriods)...(Juiced ball's) ect..

The skill's are there but the love for the game is gone.
it's no longer the game with bigger than life heroes, more like bigger than life ego's IMO.

Maybe the plug need's to be pulled from the season.....It's fucked 2, cause the two team's I follow are having stellar season's..(Dodger's & Angels).....but baseball might need to be taken off life support in order to see if it can survive without the casual fan.
In my opinion....the answer is no. (rating's wise)

But the sport will survive, it always has, and it always will.
It just will never have the following it used to have when it was just a game.
I love Baseball, just in the last couple of seasons me & Baseball have been like a divorced couple....I hate the hoe for the stupid shitt she has put our relationship though.
And sometimes I wish I can order a hitt out on the bitch.....lol
And the fan's have spoken.....2002 the hitt has been made.

IMO
Peace

well i think baseball is FAR from dead man, that TV rating are still up and last years world series got more ratings then any other WS EVER televised. and attendence has stayed firm with the dodgers, they are still averging the same fan base as last year, and the angels are up. so baseball is still loved by lots of ppl, it still rules over basketball. look at the angels vs dodgers this year, the angels broke a attendece rec in a 3 day span, they got more the 130,00 in the 3 day series, the fans want baseball and need baseball, some 1 will save baseball, i dont know who, but some 1 will.....
