Scary Movies

Whats the scariest movie you've ever seen? I don't know what mine is, I can't really think of one in particular that has REALLY scared me, when I was younger yeah but when I watch the ones i've seen in the past now I think 'why the hell was I scared'? But I do remember being pretty scared when I went to watch "House On Haunted Hill" at the cinema, the sound was so loud and the screen's size exagerating everything made it seem scarier, but when i've watched it at home it makes me laugh more than anything. Some films i'd rather not watch alone like "The Exorcist", lol, or "People Under The Stairs", some things freak me out if I watch them alone. But I don't think i've been really scared by a movie for years. What about everyone else?

I think that if you take one of the 'O's' out of 'Good' it's 'God', if you add a 'D' to 'Evil' it's the 'Devil'. I think some cool motherfucker sat down a long time ago and said 'let's figure out a way to control motherfuckers'.

'Demons' is the only movie to get into my dreams - scary stuff. It was years ago though.  Nightmare on Elm Street was quite scary back then too.

Apart from that horror films don't scare me, they are good at making me jump though... Candyman & Scream are good for that.

Yeah, same here. "Scream" was good when it first came out, but i've seen it too many times now for it to make me jump. "Candyman" is still a pretty good horror film though, especially if you watch it alone, lol.

I watch "Jeepers Creepers" the other night, I thought it was gonna be scary judging from the beginning of the film but when you found out that guy was some sort of monster/human it spoiled the whole thing, it could of been a good horror film if they didn't make the killer into some monster. That film was more gross than scary. I tell you what film is pretty scary though, "Seven". Thats more like a thriller though, still good shit though.

Yeah, i'd say Halloween is possibly the best filmed horror movie ever. The music is a big factor in why it's so scary, and they way it's filmed as a whole (the camera angles, lighting etc), it makes you think alot, especially after you've watched it, lol. Tell you what else is pretty scary, "The Texas Chainsaw Masacre".

You know what got me jumping a little at the cinema?  The Sixth Sense - I saw it on the first night, so no-one had ruined it for me and there were certain moments that made me jump - but then I watched it on video and I was like "What the fuck was I scared about?"

People tried to say the Blair Witch was scary and I just thought it was the biggest load of shit ever.
