No doubt in this sorry World Cup he was been the star. No doubt. And i know he's the best striker of the world right now.

Now, you all know i'm a Juventus fan, and not an Inter fan. So actually i hate Inter. But i gotta defend them now, for the love of truth.



This man was been acquired by Inter in 1998 to win Scudetto. He played the whole season in 1998, and Inter didnt win Scudetto (they arrived 2nd), but he still made an awesome championship with 25 goals in 32 games. Del Piero was just too much, that year. Plus a refree didnt help Inter in Juve-Inter, but that's not an excuse. But Ronnie still won UEFA Cup with Inter.

The following year, the injury. Really bad. 1 year without playing, but still receiving 6 millions of € a year and with Inter's president, Mr. Moratti, helping him in all the ways possibles (even paying him travels to Brazil, the operation, and everything, treathing him like his real son). After 1 year injured, he returned in the late 1999 to play in a Coppa Italia game against Lazio. Again another injury (exactly the same, same knee too), and all the doctors said he was a dead player. Like Van Basten. But Moratti still kept the faith in him re-negotiating his contract and increasing it (while he was injured!!!!!!!). Another 1 year without playing, and then he returned this year, in the last games, to play 10 games and to score 7 goals (some on penalties, some with incredible mistakes of the GK, but it doesnt matter, STILL 7 goals!). But he wasnt been enought for Inter to win Scudetto, cause Inter and Ronaldo totally sucked in the last decisive game, by loosing 4-2 against Lazio. And Inter had 5-6 points more than Juve 4 games before the end of Serie A, but Juve finished by winning it (EHEHE..). Then a great World Cup, with great goals, but easy goals too, expecially against wack teams like China, Costa Rica, etc... BUT STILL HE WAS BEEN THE BEST SCORER! THAT'S NOT THE PROBLEM! MVP NO DOUBT.

Moratti let him prepare this World Cup by letting him return to play with Inter later than the premeditated time (nobody had this privilegie but Ronaldo), to be 100% ready for the end of the season and for the World Cup. Well.. Inter lost the SCUDETTO in one of the most incredibles defeats ever, and RONALDO sucked. But then he won the World Cup.

Moratti still supported him.
