Help me with Divx and Codec.....

I got the divx player 2.1 and it works fine.

The thing is when i want to play the movie old school it only playes the voices, not the picturë....

Now my question is do i need a codec, and if so wich one and what do i install innit....

ohhhhh btw its a dvd rip....

Thanks man, but check this one out.

I went here and there on the net trying to find something that can help me, and i ended kinda on the divx.com forum.
I got under the Technical Support and FAQ section and just looked, and you know what there were a couple of threads about the "problems" i was having. After i did them (almost) all, it got helped me.

The last thing i install´ed was something called ffdshow, and i think that thats the one that helped me....
I got the newest edition of the divx player (the free one) and it said that the ffdshow was on it, but i guess that it wasent....

So if you like me cant see a divx movie, cuz the screen is either off (black) or green with wierd stuff on it, then check this link out:
