Canada - More than three dozen Vancouver police investigators continued their probe Wednesday of the Loft Six shootout that left two men dead inside the nightclub early Saturday.

The club remained under police guard -- with handcuffs locked to the front door -- as investigators tried to sort out what led to the shootout in the club, located at 6 Powell Street in Gastown area.

Police said earlier that there were three factions in the club before the shooting -- associates of an outlaw motorcycle club, Asian gang members and Indo-Canadian gangsters.

Killed were John Anthony Johnson, 31, a former bouncer at Brandi's*, a Vancouver strip club, and Windsor, Ont., resident John Popovich, 32, an uninvolved bystander. Another uninvolved bystander, Steven Stanton, 30, a dance instructor from Los Angeles who was shot in the back, remains in hospital. A 22-year-old man shot in the lower back was released after refusing hospital treatment shortly after the shooting.

Police still have not yet released the name of the 19-year-old man who died after being found shot in his car in the 1300-block West 15th minutes after the Loft Six shooting.

Apparently the guy who was killed had a $188,000.00 bounty on his head by the Hells Angels.
