A TECNICAL QUESTION: WHY NO YELLOW FOR BECKHAM?
« on: June 20, 2002, 10:20:48 PM »
I mean... if he drop down like a potato, protesting.. and the refree (obviously) doesnt give him a penalty.... isnt it simulation + yellow card?

Just to remember how you all dissed Totti..... What about now? They changed the rule before England-Brazil or it depends from refree to refree? Or from what? I'm curious. I cant accept those things. If simulation = yellow, then..... it's yellow for Italy (even if Totti doesnt even simulate), for Germany, for Brazil and for ENGLAND. Even for Beckham.

Well.. you obviously havent read English newspapers! They pratically destroyed Italians. For 2 reasons:
1) We didnt attack
2) We always simulate.

What about now? England didnt shot 1 fucking time since the refree scandalously sent Ronaldinho off, and Beckham looked like a potato (with no yellow card).

Nothing personal against England, of course. But i just wanna prove some1 that it's too easy to talk shit. Then you have to prove you better and that you dont do the same things. Get me?

it was a tangle of legs with beckham.  If beckham deserved a yellow then Rivaldo deserved a fuckin purple card (You are so thick you proberly think you can actually get these).  If you watch the slow motion video you can see that Ronaldinho made no attempt to pull his foot back and he was showing studs and he went right thru Mills, which my friends is a straight sending off.

Mistakes happen. If a lineman feels a player if offside he is right to raise his flag.  that what he is there for.  yer we where all upset about 1998 but we got beat after a player admitted that he dived and he wud do it again.  we got beat on pens.  We had a ref decision against us when sol campbell scored but still if the ref felt it was a foul fair do's.  game over.

Yeah, and it was been a scandal.

And we got FIFA and linesmen admitting they made mistakes ONLY against us.

So why is it cool for you to cry/protest and, if Italians do it, we just "bitches crying like babys"? That's my point. Get it? You too quick to judge, but.. do you remember English back in 1998? Why cant we be mad? Expecially after FIFA admitted the mistakes? At least let us be mad, lol.

I know. But they made werent perfect in 1998 too. And you cried. I mean.. it's too easy to write: "It happens" when it doesnt happen to you. Cause when it happens to you, you cry. Simple as that.

Nobody is saying they cant make mistakes. Even 5 consecutive against Italy. It can happen. But why cant we be mad? Like you did back in 1998. Nothing more, nothing less.

I was been dissed cause i was been mad. Like you, man. In 1998. Get it? Btw let's stop here. The "refrees makes mistake" aint a good reply to the question of my topic. Cause it was been not a mistake, but something different.

I mean.. if that's the rule, you gotta apply it everywhere. There's no plot against nobody, but.. it sucks like 1 refree uses a rule, and another one uses another rule.

You can make a mistake by not seeing an action right. But when you see it right, you GOTTA apply the rules. You dont invent the rules by yourself.

TOTTI never simulated. So why yellow card? It was been a TECNICAL mistake. And it's the only thing we can attack about a refree. Not a human mistake. A TECNICAL mistake. And i cant accept a refree of a World Cup is so ignorant to make mistakes.

Oh.. and another TECNICAL mistake: the offside of Tommasi. The defender touched the ball. It's no offside. TECNICAL MISTAKE! It was in my 18 cm, but i dont care. The defender TOUCHED THE BALL. You dont have to see the cm's no more. It's no offside. That's why i am mad. Cause an ignorant moron (the 3rd best refree of Ecuador) doesnt even know the rules!

Cause it was just 1 game, and FIFA didnt admit the refrees made numerous mistakes against you in 3 consecutive games.

Plus.. like i wrote.. from 5-6 years there's a big war between Italy and FIFA. And we mad cause they threated us like that as a revenge. Probably.

But the worse thing is not that linesmen and refrees can make mistakes, but that they sent the 3rd best refree from Ecuador and the number 1 enemy of Italy (linesman) to refree Italy-South Korea, maybe the hardest game of the world cup. After we asked an expert refree and FIFA admitted all the mistakes in the 2 previous games.

THAT'S WHY WE MAD. NOT BECAUSE OF MISTAKES. CAUSE, TO SAY THE TRUTH, MORENO DIDNT MAKE A LOT OF MISTAKES IN THE REGULAR 90 MINUTES WITH KOREA, SO WE HAD TO WIN IT 2-0. AGAINST A WACK TEAM.

But still... there are a lot of problems between FIFA and Italian federation, and the Moreno thing is just the last (best) one.

P.S.
Have you read interviews of Moreno? He pratically dissed Italy because of the missed shot of VIERI. What the fuck? A refree? This is not possible, man. Nobody can accept it. Sorry.
