Yeah, I noticed, but didn't want to say anything.  People on other threads are praising his performance, but his clothes, his look, his moves, even his voice were a total m.j. ripoff.  The song, btw, was written by the neptunes FOR michael Jackson, but he turned it down for invincible, said it needed a hook.  So, Justin took it and rerecorded it just like Mike would have.

come on now.

Word agreed....Timberlake has Mike's nut'z all in his mouth.
But yo i'm surprised yall' have never dissed the biggest Michael imposter alive....Usher

OmG....now that's a fucken Riiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiip

I guess the spirit of Jackie wilson, and the living legend James Brown are laughing their ass'es off now.

They went through the tear when Mj emulated them, so turn around is fair play.

Yeah Usher does too, especially when it comes to dance moves, but but at least he got his own look. Justin Timberlake just stole MJ's style completely. If you wanna see a MJ immitater you can go to Vegas and see people do it better.

It was still a good performance. Immitation is the most sincere form of flattery so Micheal shouldn't care too much.

Yeah i agree completely.  Man he tries to be M.J so much, it aint even funny...copying his dance moves, I also heard he gets his voice modulated so he can hit high notes like M.J...man, whtever he does, he cant be even close to the g.o.a.t, M.J...
Oh yeah M.J should have taken that song, its not bad, peace

So what.  I don't think he is doing it to steal M.J's style, but doing it as praise to him.

I know the dances and high pitched vocals do sound like Mike when he was young but it still sounds good.

The beat is sick, the vocals are ill, dances were tight and so were The Clipse.  Hate me, this song is be big.  Shit makes you dance for real.

Yeah,Usher is a HUGE rip off too, but man, Usher DOES have talent.  Plus, he's doing the whole retro mike thing, he's vibing off the Mike from 1985.  Justin Timberlake is jacking like 1998 Michael Jackson, lol.  You've got a good point though, I think I just like Usher better than Justin, he seems more creative.

In their defense, though, Usher wears Michael Jackson t-shirts, Michael Jackson jackets (he had one on last night), and things like that, making it obvious he gives props to Mike.  He's said several times, he's the greatest of all time.

And Last night, before his performance, either on stage or backstage, Justin said something about "I'm paying homage to Michael Jackson tonight" or something like that.

Funny thing is this is suppost to be his solo performance. So in the performance its justin singing with 5 dudes dancing behind him. At a Nsync performance isnt it just Justin singing with 5 dudes dancing behind him.

Yeah, that's a good point, lol.  Everybody does that, though.  Like, look at Diana Ross, breaking up the Supremes, to make songs with female backup singers.  Come on now.
