"G's And Soldiers"
« on: September 25, 2003, 05:27:04 PM »
Anyone ever heard of this tracc? I just heard it on my Music Choice channel. This is what it said about it: Song - G's And Soldiers(2003), Album - The Grand Opening, Artist - Planet Asia/Kurupt.

Anywayz, it was pretty smashin' so I was just wondering where it's from.

First single from Asia's forthcoming album. Pretty dope track

Most hip-hop is now keyboard driven, because the majority of hip-hop workstations have loops and patches that enable somebody with marginal skills to put tracks together,...

Unfortunately, most hip-hop artists gravitated towards the path of least resistance by relying on these pre-set patches. As a result, electric guitar and real musicians became devalued, and a lot of hip-hop now sounds the same.

Cool shit. Kurupt's 1st verse was straight heat IMO. Maybe he's tryna prove he can still spit fire to his doubters.
