LOX' Recognize was a smooth beat, I wish he scratched the chorus there better though.

dont sleep on the best beat ever: Work.
Cause I don't care where I belong no more
What we share or not I will ignore
And I won't waste my time fitting in
Cause I don't think contrast is a sin
No, it's not a sin

Almost everything he's done for Gangstarr is classic work...

Others I like are:

Equality w/ AfuRa
Kick in the Door w/ Biggie
10 Crack Commandments w/ Biggie
The one and Only w/ Snoop

All the work he did w Big L was tight too.

Too hard to choose

oh yeah & that Goldyn Chyld beat he did for Ras was one of his worst, you guys must not have heard all of Gang Starr's albums.

Most hip-hop is now keyboard driven, because the majority of hip-hop workstations have loops and patches that enable somebody with marginal skills to put tracks together,...

Unfortunately, most hip-hop artists gravitated towards the path of least resistance by relying on these pre-set patches. As a result, electric guitar and real musicians became devalued, and a lot of hip-hop now sounds the same.

That wasn't directed towards you it was towards those who said Goldyn Child is his best beat which is laughable
