Damn you saw George Clinton? I was gonna see him but I didn't have the $$$ at the time. I'm hoping that Paris PE & dp tour goes worldwide so everyone has the oppurtunity to see it.

Most hip-hop is now keyboard driven, because the majority of hip-hop workstations have loops and patches that enable somebody with marginal skills to put tracks together,...

Unfortunately, most hip-hop artists gravitated towards the path of least resistance by relying on these pre-set patches. As a result, electric guitar and real musicians became devalued, and a lot of hip-hop now sounds the same.

Westside Connection <--- Best live show.
Up In Smoke Tour (Dre, Cube, Snoop)
Puff Puff Pass Tour (Snoop, Tha Eastsidaz)
Hard Knock Life Tour (DMX, Jay-Z, Red, Meth)
Ice-T Original Gangster Tour <--- First rap concert I ever went to.
Mobb Deep
Bone Thugs N Harmony <--- I think they were lip synching.
N2Deep

Can't think of anything else right now but I'm sure there's more.

Hip-hop acts I've seen live:

Jurassic 5
Blackalicious
Rahzel
Saian Supa Crew

and off to see Public Enemy at the end of the month.
"Without The Elements It's All Irrelevent" Jurassic 5

"This world better acknowledge me I'm over ambitious
Do almost anything to rob a genie for his wishes." 57th Dynasty

"We didn't give a toss about money, fame or stardom
Just about the culture, the music, slang and jargon." Blak Twang

"Freedom Is A Road Seldom Travelled By The Multitude" Public Enemy

"If Ignorance Is Bliss Then Knock The Smile Of My Face" Zach De La Rocha
