Ramadan begins today. For those who aint knowin, Ramadan is the holiest month in the Islamic calender. Muslims fast from sunrise to sun set and abstain from sex, food, cigarettes. Generally, Muslims also are on good behaviour, seeing as that the value of sins and good deeds are multiplied in Ramadan.

Ramadan is kinda like "sweeps" over here ...all the TV networks go all out and put on new and "exciting" shows , all the restaurants start making special "ramadan" offers , even popeyes and mcdonalds....
see people , we're not THAT different , corporations have commercialised ALL holidays ...


i'm not muslim but "Ramadan kareem" to all the muslims on this board

LOL... no one thinks they are in a bad country unless they have no rights. It's a very funny statement, concidering that civilization as we now it, started in the Middle East. All these so-called Muslim Terriorist countries, is where human civilization started. I really doubt people over there think of themselves as evil nation, except for Saddam Iraq, because most of his own people hated him.
