verse 1:

it's 2003,
and i'm back on equanimity,
formerly the MEDs,
still opposing the trees and the c's,
and everything else destructive in this world,
cos so many dissmiss this,
but it's the pinacle of spiritual lyricals,
yeah, but aint no physical pinacles like mountains topped with snow,
just spreadin the metta clinical with this new flow,
so now u know, no ego,
just feel that metta grow,
cos every now and then i get this feeling of harmony,
it feels like that's the way it should be,
that's why it's called equanimity,
that's why I aint just sayin this for the short term,
until the tables turn.

verse 2 :

I aint turnin' no tables,
cos equanimity's my label,
if u ground this sound i'll turn u around till ur mear existence is a fable,
so wassup, it's rareman spreadin this sound all around,
cos i'm back and i'm renowned for the sound,
rareman back on equanimity,
back and flowin to this here beat with unity,
cos i'm here on the production of these chilled out beats,
all desires of construction r fulfilled without heat,
and all desires of destruction r killed in defeat,
although it's impossible to complete the delete,
we don't use descrete conceit,
just take a seat as I scratch on the beat. (c'mon...)

verse 3:

yeah be whole with,
and roll with it,
and if ur mindfull enough then just go and stroll with it,
cos i'm riding the samsara, gradually getting better,
so this is JCL spreading my metta,
I admit i may sound a little amateur,
but at least when i flow, i aint out to damage u,
on equanimity records, me and rareman r joint managers,
we keep it chilled and cool with no savages.

Bored.. so I wrote a lil freestyle with the same subject..

~Equanimity.. finally a "Lil G' with some ability in this vicinity..
~It'z killin me, beef leads to kill emcees and seeps to vacancies..
~Control all deez hoes.. roll with the blows.. be equal with the souls..
~Even if we was born on opposite poles, our 'equal spirits' would show some control..
~Invade these minds.. vibe with the lines as you flow with these lines..
~We are one of the same kind so let us bind till we combine spines..
~The flow so fluid through ya brain.. just listen to you stupid..
~Just do it.. paint pictures in ya head and remember the handz that drew it..
~Then pend ten friends who tend to pretend pens are less than endless friends who depart when tha zen ends..
~These are the handz that feed you.. and spends energy to send bends through ya lens..
~I'd slice mice and splice rice to see the blood of christ twice..
~The world of religion is a vice.. and spits at you in the face when u offer advice..
~'Equanimity' entitles people to travel miles and congress in piles..
~To burn bibles and torch titles to allow we as people to vibe in my recitals..
