Lloyd Banks, although Buck outshines both him and 50 on "Beg For Mercy".

That's what the "New York Daily News" had to say about the issue:

It's not easy to upstage a superstar. But on the first major-label release from G-Unit (the posse of rapper 50 Cent), the most exciting flow comes not from the best-known member, but from an emerging one: Lloyd Banks.

LMAO. I love that word Posse. Shit's old school.

Buck.

He doesn't mumble like 50 and Banks.

He's not simplistic like 50.

He has charisma, not 50 charisma, but much more than Banks.

He can rock any style beat, from what I've heard, and not sound forced.

On this album..ImO
the superstar (50) was out gunned by his own men.
but maybe that was the purpose of a G-Unit.
(On a personal note I'd still rather have a solo 50 joint than any member in G-Unit)
but on this album his troop's came better.

WCC told the truth.

1. Lloyd Banks
2. 50 Cent
3. Young Buck
4. Tony Yayo

That's pretty much my list too, but Yayo might switch place with Young Buck on a good day.
Buck got the benefit of being on a whole album, while Yayo was only on 2 tracks.

yeah that is how my shit came out.

yall got to give banks his credit, he kills it all over the album, so does buck. I dont think buck really fits in, but i mean its not like he is a bad artist, he has a good amount of potential. I think 50 took a back seat on the album to let the rest of g-unit shine (with the exception of tony yayo who i heard twice on the album) kind of how eminem did D12, camron with the diplomats, and jayz with the rest of the roc crew.

album is straight though

No way, Buck is more better.

Most hip-hop is now keyboard driven, because the majority of hip-hop workstations have loops and patches that enable somebody with marginal skills to put tracks together,...

Unfortunately, most hip-hop artists gravitated towards the path of least resistance by relying on these pre-set patches. As a result, electric guitar and real musicians became devalued, and a lot of hip-hop now sounds the same.
