All this hype for G-Unit and they couldn't even beat 2Pac who's been dead for years LMAO

Pac had the advantage of being 3 days more in sale though..
2 days vs. 5 days..

If Jigga and G-Unit was released on Tuesday, the list would look like this:

1. Jay-Z- The Black Album (1.116.100)
2. G-Unit- Beg For Mercy (922.005)
3. Tupac- Resurrection (437,219)

(Considering that Jay-Z and G-Unit would have sold about the same each of the 5 days as they did on Friday and Saturday)

+ or - 50.000 maybe..

I knew they weren't gonna do good.

They have made alot of bad choices since GRODT.

1. Missing the AMA awards days before their album dropped a key opportunity to promote their album to millions.

2. Gay Single = Stunt 101

3. Gay Video = Stunt 101 with too much money  :P

4. Not putting their best material on the album R&B instead of rap.

5. Next single = SMILE   :P :-X

Its like their doing the exact opposite of what they should be doing.

LMAO@Jome's numbers...

Do the math..

Dude, the numbers don't double everyday...Statistics show that when an album drops, most of its sales are made in it's first day and the following Saturday...Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and Sunday don't even matter, because the sales are down over 50% during those days...I don't think those 3 days woulda' made much of a difference, seeing as G-Unit's album dropped on a Friday, which means it got its first day sales (Friday), and it got its weekand sales...So the album would have done basically the same...PeACe

Ya Jome, most people buy the albums in the first couple of days, those are always the strongest as far as sales.   More like 650,000 jay,  500 k for G Unit

Surprised that G unit didnt debut number 1, but i guess al te 50 cent groupies dont actually like stunt 101, as it as nowhere near the hit power as iN da Club.  I dont even think 1 song on there album sounds like a big hit, at least not as big as In da Club, PIMP, or 21 questions.   Another lacklustre album by a superstars group (D12 had the best one IMO)///////

Oh ya, big props to Jay, great album, didnt think it would put up numbers due to single, but it is a great album and deserves to push big units.  peace

Remember those 446,464 is not his full first week numbers, the album has only been out for 5 days.

Check hitsdailydouble.com on Friday and add his building "second-week" sales figures there to the 446,464 and you will have his official first week numbers. Should exceed 600,000 easily.
