Whatever, yall missing out on some pure raw hiphop..

Royce rips M.O.P./Jay-Z's "Put it in the air", Ludacris "Stand up", Timbaland's "Cop that shit", Gangstarr's "Militia 3" :o etc....+ a bunch of other hot tracks.. 8)

Never thought "Cop that shit" would sound THAT sick with a proper rapper on it.. :o

Royce pretty much CONSUMED Guru, Big Shug and Freddie Foxxx's verses on the "Militia 3" beat.. should DEFINATELY have been on the original..
On Canibus-level, but easier on the ear.. he even shouts Canibus out..

Better than 99.9% of mixtapes. 8)

If my word doesn't cut it, peep what Hiphopsite.com had to say:

Quote
Royce Da 5'9 is the perfect of example of what record labels can do to an incredible artist.

Royce possess certain attributes that most emcees lack today---a contagious confidence and ungodly flow (which has gotten even more-refined since Rock City).  Combine that with a tendency to annihilate beats and it undeniably places him in an elevated category only hip-hop's elite can deal with (why another major-label has not scooped him up is a mystery).

Royce accomplishes what he sets out do with this mixtape; continuing to further the buzz for Death Is Certain and prove that he's is as ill as they come.  One thing is for sure, Royce is a star waiting for his break out album, which hopefully will be Death is Certain.

I'm on the end of my first listen right now, but honestly I wasn't really paying attention too much so I'll have to save my opinion for my second time around.

I heard one of the last tracks is said to be a Canibus diss. Didn't hear that mixtape yet. Is it true? Why the fuck is he dissin' Canibus instead of joinin' Canibus on a diss against Eminem :D

maybe he approached canibus for that reason, but then bis was like fuck off  :D
Cause I don't care where I belong no more
What we share or not I will ignore
And I won't waste my time fitting in
Cause I don't think contrast is a sin
No, it's not a sin

Royce 5'9 is among the 10 best MC's out there.
Canibus might be among them too, but he would have a hard time in a battle against Royce.

(Over "Militia 3" beat:)

[Royce 5'9]
The stuff I talk, puts every tape on the shelf to shame
Making a name for myself, while I'm making your fame help me!
Niggas talking barely content, a punch
You suffer a bigger loss than Eric Benet when you come
To the rap-planet, it's packed with the candidates
Who attack us to battle, and get subtracted like Can-I-biss
I'd be hating to prove to you lazy jan-i-tors
You pushin' a broom in a blaze with a black manager managin'
Combined with the heat of Atlanta, I'ma be leavin' you standin'
Breathin' and bleedin', while I'm squeezin' the cannon
Competin' with me?, you can't, it's like readin' up the cyclopedia botanica
...

sick shit..

Royce Da 5'9" is someone you think of when you think of versatility.
Canibus is what you think of when you think of someone that's one-dimensional.
