Lately I've noticed most people hate him.

Okay, maybe his debut LP wasn't perfect, but in my opinion he's a dope MC.
Everybody's saying he's even wacker now but listen to recent songs The Race (dopest track from Drag in my opinion) or his appearance on DMX's Untouchable (where he dropped the best verse of the song in my opinion) and I don't see why people think he's the worst MC ever. :-\

[Verse 1]
Check it, check how I run on niggaz
Take the mask off, put the gun on niggaz (Uh-hu)
Ya niggaz better do what I say like Simon
Cuz I'm the nigga that push weight cuz I'm in
My 4-4, long like hallways
So you better run, straight run always
I put my gun four ways
Upside down, Side ways, and around all day
I slain crack in the broad day
Cuz "Momma been laid off" like Shaday
Here today, gone tomorr'
You know I stay hard like a porno star
Check it, check how I'm back on niggaz
D to the R,A,G, It's on niggaz
Don't get shot, don't get stab
Just get your bitches ass back in the lab
And stay there
I be, feeling up on your bitch
Back, top down, pound in my lap
Sounds like the sounds of the gat
Top down, put the sun on bitches
Clear your block out, right on niggaz
Double R in the club, to the front of the vind
I fucked your mother, now you a son of my bitch
Not my mother, fucker (Get it, ha ha!)

Nigga Drag just shitted
Nigga don't get splitted
Nigga what!

[Drag-On]
Uhh, uhh, uhh, c'mon!
You motherfuckers got me back on my grizzly, I'm back on the grind
I'm back to the streets, catch a beef, come back with the nine
I'll murder ya man, come back with his shines
I tote two guns, I don't care if you box, I don't care if you blind
I spit in your eye like niggaz is eatin, I'm splittin the pies
Frank Nitty your rap, how gritty am I?  The city is mine
Yeah, you get in my way I pity your moms
Yeah, my block is real, my niggaz is armed
My borough is thorough, we bang with each other
I'm switchin my diamonds and changin the color
with change of weather, canary in the sun, uhh
I bury ya nigga then bury the gun, X whattup?
Me and you is untouchable (uh-huh)
We both had bricks they couldn't sniff cause the coke was uncrushable
Guns is fingerprint-proof, we "Ryde or Die"
You drivin by, we clap at your ride, good-bye

And besides that I think his flow is real dope now. ;)

I like his debut very much and can't see why so many people are hatin' on that shit >:( And he's definitely a very good emcee.

...The Race (dopest track from Drag in my opinion)...

Agree, I love that shit! But unfortunately I don't like many of his new tracks that where spreaded via mIRC :-[ Hopefully "Hell And Back" will be better than that.

Get it right, you faggot niggas heard Suge Knight/
Double R's the only niggas he respect, and y'all niggas shook right?

Lyrically it wasn't that bad but Swizz Beatz handled most of the production, and while usually, at that time, he had good ideas with average production, still making it catchy, this time it was just reaaally bad.  :-\ But atleast now he has a lot more producers and Swizz Beatz makes a LOT better beats.

^^ What do you think of "Bang Bang Boom"? It's only edited on mIRC, but it's a very dope party-beat by Swizz Beatz. Probably a good choice for the first single.

First single is already Put Your Drinks Down remember? ;)
And yeah I downloaded Bang Bang Boom a few days ago, this is that Swizz Beatz I'm talking about. It's not as good as his "Hotel", "Get It On The Floor" or "Party In The Rain" (Old) but it's very addiciting, and Swizz drops another quality hook. ;) I love Swizz's delivery, especially when he does the Yo, yoyoyo, yo. ;D Bang Bang Boom's quality from IRC is bad though, I hope it's not like this on the LP like We 'Bout To Blow was. :-\

Yeah, I forgot "would've been" in my post, because I'm a lazy motherfucker :P ;D

I also loved his production for Busta's "Together". I think that was the time his production went from average to dope 8) And also with Swizz' "G.H.E.T.T.O. Stories", I think this and Busta's latest LP were nearly the same date, so late 2002 was the "turn" in my opinion.

I've always liked his style, but i probably wouldn't buy an album of his unless i heard it was real solid.  I have respect for him just because of his song with Twista, "Twisted Heat" where he comes pretty dope along with Twista who is always amazing.
If tha bitch can't swim, then shes bound to drizzound!

Yeah somewhere in 2002 he switched up, maybe he got a new studio or something, either way it works. 8)
Another thing I noticed way back was Flesh Of My Flesh, Blood Of My Blood.
That was way before the "Opposite of H2O" LP and it stil sounds :o today.
All those strings, the guitarres and shit, it all sounded real dope.
But yeah, he surprised me with Swizz Beatz Presents G.H.E.T.T.O. Stories, maybe he just saved all the good beats for himself lol

Swizz got dope beats back in the days too fo' sure, but not that quality like he has today. In my opinion P.K. topped Swizz with productions like that for "Stop Beeing Greedy" (my fav' beat from X' first album), "Comin' From" (my fav' beat from X' second album) when the Double R started in '98.

Aside from the flow he bit from Cam'ron, nothing about this guy is remotely good. He's the weakest cat on his label.

Nah, nah, he's not that bad, did you check those two songs?

The T'Cha: Nah, P.K. is dope but I thought Swizz Beatz had the best beat with Flesh Of My Flesh, Blood Of My Blood's title track. Teflon had some up to date beats too, like Who's That Girl. Speaking of Scorpion, I think Got What You Need is one of Swizz' new sound productions, too. ;)

I used to be a huge Ruff Ryders fan. Bought his album, took it right back the same day. Garbage.
