It's "awful" not "awfull"...And no, they don't mean the same thing...Aw and Awe are two completely different things...PeACe

They both describe a morality judgement placed on an event.  If you say something's awesome, you've judged it as being positive, if you say something's awfull, you've judged it as being negative.

I'd say a Person, Place, Or Thing.

If you say something's awesome, you've judged it as being positive, if you say something's awfull, you've judged it as being negative.

They mean opposite.  But if you break both words down, they basically mean that something is "awe inspiring".  The english language is a motherfucker.
