G'd Up math riddle.

My teacher gave me it, I have no idea what the answer is.


Okay, so three homies go party up in da club, and get drunker and higher than a motherfucka, right? Well they took tha bouncin' lowrider to Long Beach, and they from tha C-P-T Compton and they can't drive so they be stayin' at tha hotel, not tha motel, or the holiday inn. It costs 30 bucks for one room with three beds. Keepin' it real, each gangsta be payin' 10 bucks. Tha next mornin' the hotel owner finds out the actual price of tha room was 25 bucks (includin' dem cheap ass hoes). The hotel owner thinks "HELL NAW I ain't givin' it all back. They would be thinkin' for ages who would get what." So he goes to the gangstas from Compton and says "Yo motherfucka! Here's 3 bucks, y'all was payin' too much last night." while keepin' tha other 2 bucks. "Thanks for keepin' it real G." the other one says. So each gangsta gets $1 back. So basicly each G paid 9 bucks right? 9+9+9= $27. The hotel rip-off owner has $2. So what happened to the other $1?

read it closely... the $27 + 2  figure is a red herring

because the 27 they paid already includes the stolen "2" .. the 3 left behind is what was given back, 27 is what they've paid he keeps 2 fmo the 27 leaving 25 to cover the real room cost

the 27 figure INCLUDES the stolen 2 (25 for the room + stolen2 = 25), the trcik is addnig it on, the 3 given back is what should be added on there (25 for the room, plus stolen 2= 27 + 3 given back = 30)
