I've been torn over the best song of 2003, "One Life" or "You Never Know".  I've said for a while these are the top two tracks of the year.

CalebOhio: I think i can speak for many others when i say my favorite rap artists are white but i still want black artists to be dope. they are chosing not to be. that wouldn't be a likely believe held in a white supremacist group. I want Nas to deliver evertime but he doesn't every time Sage does. so Sage gets my $15 regardless or his status. fuck your status perception and labels you use.

I just remembered one that's probably one of the dopest Xzibit tracks ever to come out:

 "Carry the weight" from "at the speed of life LP" THat song has a depressing, haunting beat, and deep and emotional lyrics. Very melancholy

This song definitely hits you. When they played the original version at the end of "Dead Presidents", damn, that shit's sad as fuck. But anyways, another that always hits me hard is "Brenda's Got A Baby". I'll havta check that Immortal trac out sometime.
