I Dont Sleep Much. I Got A Kinda Internal Body Clock That Wakes Me Up Early, So Even If I Go To Bed In The Early Hours Ill Usually Wake Up Around 5-6AM. Its Cool These Days (I Used To Hate It) But I Hate Missing Loads Of The Day I Feel Ive Wasted A Bit Of Life!

The Only Time The Internal Clock Dosent Kick In Is When Ive Been Drunk When I Go To Sleep. It Seems To Disable (lol!) Probably To Let My Metabolism Work Off The Alcohol In My Sleep Rather Than Waking Up Rough.

Its Better To Go To Sleep Drunk At 3AM And Wake At 10AM Refreshed Than Wake At 6AM (For The Sake Of A Longer Day) To Feel Rough As Fuck!  ;)

During school my body would automatically wake me up at 6:32 am. It only failed me twice I think. And on the weekends I wake up when I want. Strange.

Damn some of you guys sleep 12 hours.  That is a lot of sleep.  I usually try and get 8 hours of sleep.  I used to stay up till about 2 and wake up at 9 or 10 or 11.  But now I gotta wake up at 6 mon thru fri for work.  It sucks, I hate waking up that early.

I'd love to try this for myself because I sleep about 7-8 hours a night (all 7 days of the week) and I feel I waste too much time in bed.

But apparently it's possible to adjust your sleep pattern so you nap for 15 minutes every fours hours or so. Leonado Di Vinci claimed to do this himself.

This adds around 6 hours to every day but it can only be sustained for short periods of about 2 months at a time. Claudio Stampi and Giancarlo Sbragia have both performed sleep experiments to successfully prove this idea. Giancarlo allegedly managed to sustain this sleep cycle for 6 months but admitted he was a psychological wreck after a few months.

But I guess you could still try it and every few months go back to normal sleeping to 'recover.' It's a pity the working/school week cannot accomodate it very easily.
