Education - A Process in which knowledge passes from lecture notes of the professor to the exam paper of the student without passing through the heads of either.

School is an institution wrought upon us to break our spirits. If you believe otherwise, then yours is already broken.

it's all good so did I.
Cause I don't care where I belong no more
What we share or not I will ignore
And I won't waste my time fitting in
Cause I don't think contrast is a sin
No, it's not a sin

It's a quote I agree with. I'm sure plenty of people here agree as well, which is why I posted it.

I look at education like this:

It's more about patience and dilligence and going through the motions in order to get the credentials. Honestly, I learn more helpful things dealing with people at work or the outside world rather than sitting my ass in a room and cramming some facts in my memory that I will forget within a week.

Hell yeah, life experience is the greatest education you can ever get.

We don't need no education!!!!!!!!

I'll give props as soon as I've got 500 posts to the person that knows who said that.

Uhh I'm 15 and looks like I'm about to fail high school horrible.
I'm pretty sure I'm not dumb though and I could do a decent job when I'm older.
Uhh and I won't become a murderer either.

Uhmmm.. So yeah I agree with Sik. I don't really learn a lot stuffing French words in my head.
Makes me wonder what I would've been without any education at all though, so it shouldn't be completely erased or somethin'.

Another thing is education helps the way you think and handle situations in the real world. If most of us weren't school we probably would have horrible attention spans.

more often than not, kids are sort of taught or trained to be the best possible cogs in some big corporate machine. They're not really taught in an empowered way that they can start their own company so that they can create and run their own lives. They are sort of taught to be just good employees, to just fit in
