SAMPLE: Truth Hurts "Addictive"
« on: May 07, 2002, 06:27:12 PM »
DJ Quik got the idea for his drums from B.T. Express' "Do It", and the Indian song is from a song called "Sona Sona" (Although I have Heard "Sona Sona", and I can't find where he sampled it  :-/)  Thanks To Kuniva for the Info.

**UPDATE**
The indian song is actually by Lata Mangeshkar and is called "Thoda Resham Lagta Hai"

Nope if you listen closley, everything was stolen form the song, from the drums to the samples and even added other parts of the song for the remix. Somehow quick re-created the sounds to sound exactly like the same but tighter or he ran that song thru a machine and cleaned it up real nicley so that it would sound clean and fresh. But at one point in the song, you'll hear the whole little drum rhythm and sounds sound exactly the same, just not as clean.

ater listening to the BT EXPRESS song the drums sound exactly like addictive and the old indian song... maybe they took the drums from the old indian song too? or maybe its just one big coincidence, but i doubt quik got the idea from both songs, because the drums are exactly the same on the old indian song too.
