Fuck Dre.  He doesnt give a flying fuck about his fans, and he thinks that he can lead everyone around cuz hes supposedly number 1.  Well fuck him, hopefully Dextox will get bootlegged and then we can all enjoy it without him gettin any money from it.  That'll teach him a lesson.

Dre is a mark azz faggot.

You should think about why 1 man you've never met's decision to not release an album right now makes you assume he's a faggot.

This is why Dre can't be considered one of the best producers ever,

Read that line again.  Are you really that stupid?  He "can't be considered ONE of the best producers ever" ?  He's EASILY one of the best producers ever, in any category of music, and arguably by anyone the best hiphop producer of all time.  You can argue that one,but there's no question he's ONE of the best, easily.

I agree with what Trauma said. SOme people have no brains, like this idiot i quoted below

See, everyone now knows what I'm talking about. Dre is severly overrated.

SGV I am tired of seeing you write redicolous shit. U think that ur opinion is like a benchmark for hip hop or something, like if u say Dr.Dre is a shit producer, its not just your opinion, its a fact in your mind

Regardless of what u think the proof is in the pudding, Dres produced more hits & classic songs than anyone else in rap, ever. Yes sure he doesnt release as much as others, only coz he wants to put out the best shit, & he spends hours working over the track & putting in or taking out even the smallest things until its just right

You're just another hip hop nazi tryin to controll people

Dre just putting Detox on hold and he wanna work on his album, according to Aftermath sources. He just pushed the release date back. So you can expect "Detox" in the future. You also can expect the "old" Detox Beats on Games, 50's, Em's, Busta's and Eve's album.

For Game? That's cool. The rest don't really need 'em. I guess 1 or 2 for Em and 50 each wouldn't hurt - fuck it, I'm a fan of theirs - but Busta, Eve... Naw...

But honestly I don't believe just anybody can get Dre's beats. As much as I'd like to hear somebody like Bad Azz or Sly Boogy or some other West Coast talent to spit on Dre's beats, I ain't seeing it happening. Dre is, I guess sadly, at such a high stature that he's out of their reach. They certainly have the talent, but they ain't got the connection. Well at least there's two new guys from the west working with Dre - Knoc & Game.

 ;D

I don't really mind, though. I like Dre, but outside of his albums & the shit he does for Snoop, I ain't feeling his productions. Plus all the latest shit he produced has been

Trauma and whoever the other guy was, why does it make me a dumbass to say that Dre isn't one of the best producers ever? Seriously he has produced two album front to back that I consider classic (Chronic and Doggystyle), but since then (even including 2001) he hasn't produced a fully cohesive album by himself. In the early-mid nineties when he was actually hot, he hardly did any beats for other artists (even his fellow Death Row inmates), yet at the back end of the nineties and since 2000 he has been producing for loads of people, but hasn't really made a single beat that has really impressed me, and that I have been able to vibe to.

The truely great hiphop producers are:
Pete Rock
DJ Premier
DJ Muggs
DJ Quik

All of these have produced more dope albums from back to front, and have consistantly produced better beats for other artists than Dre has.

That is why I don't even consider Dre one of the greatest.

Props... I agree with everything you say. For Dre to still be living off a rep based on what he acheived a decade ago is ridiculous.
