Patriot Act/Patriot Act II

What are your thoughts on 'em?

I think the Patriot Act is complete bullshit. It increases the government's power and takes away some of our constitutional rights. The Patriot Act II is supposed to go even further with this. No wonder cities across the country are boycotting it. Not only that, but after actually reading through it, most of the senators who voted for it in a time of crisis actually want to reverse the action. Anyways, the act is expiring soon, which is why the Neo-cons are pushing for the Patriot II which could strip a citizen of his/her citizenship and deport them wherever the fuck they or their parents came from. Land of the free? LOL, we'll see.

Sounds like WW2 when Japanese were being sent back despite the fact that many had never been there.

Unfortunately, most hip-hop artists gravitated towards the path of least resistance by relying on these pre-set patches. As a result, electric guitar and real musicians became devalued, and a lot of hip-hop now sounds the same.

The patriot act is unconstitutional and is an invasion of our rights as citizens of the U.S. I believe it should be revoked and our leaders should take a good look at what our country is about...liberty.  Un like most of you, i personnaly beleive that the Bush administration is doing an O.K. job but the Pariot Act is wrong, its unamerican its going against the morals of our founding Fathers and everything this country was founded on.  If laws like this can be passed whats next?  How many other freedoms can the government take form us?  >:( >:(
