Brilliant Debut album and definetly a near classic, and the quality of guests and beats are damn near perfect accompanied by some tight lyrics. Oh and Tash ripped the fuck out of "Birds Eye View" and made everyone else look silly on that track and lets not forget the first ever golden state warriors track "Plastic surgery", coz ppl do forget about that and it was tight.

15 Let it Rain - 5/5
16 Recycled Assassins 4.5/5
17 Outro

Overall: 4.5 of 5
Excellent follow up to a stunning debut. This album has a more grimy sound at times and again X comes out with great lyrics and the guest's come tight especially Ras on 3 card molly.

Restless (2000)  ::)

1 Intro/Restless
2 Front 2 Back - 3.5/5
3 Been a Long Time - 4/5
4 U Know - 4/5
5 X - 3.5/5
6 Alkaholik - 4/5
7 Kenny Parker Show 2001 - 3/5
8 D.N.A (Drugs-N-Alkahol) - 3/5
9 Double Time - 3.5/5
10 Don't Approach Me - 3.5/5
11 Rimz & Tirez - 3.5/5
12 Fuckin' You Right - 2/5
13 Best of Things - 3.5/5
14 Get Your Walk On - 4/5
15 Sorry I'm Away So Much - 3.5/4
16 Loud & Clear - 3.5/5

Overall: 3.5 of 5
VERY POOR coming from Xzibit, the production lets the album down for me. Don't get me wrong coz dre is hella tight with snoop, em and co BUT NOT XZIBIT. For me X's voice does not go well with these types of beats at all, also imo X dumbed down his lyrics quite a bit for this album which pissed me off. Finally the guests ranged from good to balls, i've said it before and i'll say it again snoop/dre/nate etc are AMAZING *BUT* Xzibit does not sound good with these ppl as guests or with there production. X needs to go back to E-Swift, Sir Jinx and Thayord for production and get the Likwit camp and golden state for guests.

Overall overall:
At The Speed of Life - 4.75 mics
40 Dayz & 40 Nightz - 4.5 mics
Restless - 3.5/5 mics

aight, so we pretty much agree on the 2 first ones, except some minor details.
And you gotta be Tash's biggest dickrider :D :D hehe

But Restless?  :-/
I don't see how you can deny more or less classic joints like "Front 2 Back", "Best of things", "Don't approach me" & "Get yo walk on".

hahha

Serious though Jome the way u like Xzibit so much now, i was exactly the same BEFORE restless dropped. I loved both his 1st 2 albums, loved his collabs and when Bitch Please dropped and he starting to get fame i loved it. Finaly people were seeing what xzibit was about and then "Year 2000" dropped and at that point i thought he could do no wrong. I was SO hyped for Restless, infact i was more hyped for restless than almost any Bone album and damit i have been a massive bone fan since COACU.

But i was so let down and disappointed with Restless when it was released, and i honestly believe there is NO classic tracks on there. I haven't listened to the album in about 6 months and when i do try. I end up skipping nearly the entire album.

Im not gonna hate though coz it happens to everyone, Nas dropped 2 great albums in a row then fucked up for the next 2. The Liks dropped 2 classics and then Likwidation was a little dissapointing and same with Kurupt. Its just something that happens, but its just that X has been wanting success for a long time that i thought he was gonna come raw and show everyone what he was capable of especialy after hooking up with dre.

I'm looking forward to Man vs Machine ALOT and can't wait to hear it and i believe its gonna shat all over Restless.

As for Tash....

HE's to cool

:D

Lot of very tight bangers, but I only see "Get Yo Walk On" as classic material.
