Beanie Sigel - The B Coming
« on: March 22, 2005, 06:30:54 PM »
1. Feel It In The Air f/Melissa
- The deepest song on the album, good lyrics, and a very chill beat. 5/5

2. I Can't Go On This Way (f/Freeway, Young Chris)
- Another laidback beat, great verse from Beans. Freeway's voice is sorta annoying, and Young Chris's verse is sorta lacking, but not alot. 4/5

3. One Shot Deal (f/Redman)
- Dope song, but Redman's verse isn't as good as Sigel said it was. 4/5

4. Gotta Have It (f/Peedi Crakk, Twista)
- Hot Hot Hot!! Dope beat, Crakk and Sigel kill it. 5/5

5. Don't Stop (f/Snoop Dogg)
- Not everyone is gonna like this song, but personally, I like it. It does get annoying when Beans keeps saying that he is "sicker than your average". 4/5

6. Purple Rain (f/Bun B)
- I was expecting a more hype song because DJ Scratch produced it, but it's still good. Bun B is awesome. 4.5/5

7. Oh Daddy (f/Young Chris)
- Dope sample, but the beat is too slow. Bean's verses are just decent, and his flow is kind of boring. Same with Young Chris. 3.5/5

8. Change (f/Rell, Melissa Jay)
- Too slow of a beat, and lyrics are just decent. Chorus is pretty dope though. 3/5

9. Bread And Butter (f/Sadat X, Grand Puba)
DOOOOOPE. Everything about this song is dope. Lyrics, sample, chorus, beat, etc. 5/5

10. Lord Have Mercy (f/Asia And Ashley)
- Dope beat, Asia and Ashley are pretty good singers. Beans is great too. 5/5

11. Flatline (f/Peedi Crakk)
- Decent beat and chorus, Peedi Crakk comes correct, as well as Beanie Sigel. 4.5/5

12. Tales Of A Hustler Pt 2 (f/Oschino And Sparks)
- Awesome beat. Everyone comes off dope. 4.5/5

13. Look At Me Now (f/Rell)
- Good lyrics, and a good beat. What more could you want? 4.5/5

14. It's On (f/Jay-Z)
- Pretty good beat. Jigga's verse is dope as hell. 4/5

15. Wanted (On The Run) (f/Cam'ron)
- One of my personal favorites. Some people may not like Cam's verse, but I'm a Dipset fan, so I liked it. I liked the Bon Jovi sample. 5/5

Solid album. Overall: 4.36/5

I really like this album overall. The first track produced by Heavy D is the bomb!
